Klaus Tamm

As a child, nature fascinated me. Growing up in a family of hunters, I was inspired by the wildlife photography in my father's hunting magazines. Driven by this, I bought my first SLR camera with a small telephoto lens as a teenager. I began seriously pursuing nature photography in 2005 when I got my first digital camera.

With my photos, I want to raise people's awareness of nature. My goal is to create artistically inspired images that cause the viewer to pause and reflect. My elaborate photo expeditions have taken me to remote regions of Norway, Sweden, Finland, Bulgaria, Romania, and Spain, as well as South Africa, South America, and the Falkland Islands.

Value on Authenticity

When capturing my images, it is important to me to portray animals and plants in their natural habitats without causing disturbances. All the photographs I take are produced according to the rules of renowned photo competitions – Wildlife Photographer of the Year, GDT European Nature Photographer, etc. – and without excessive post-processing.
